The survey and design Phase of Agha Jan Dam has been started
The survey and design phase of Agha Jan Dam, which is located in Chinartu District of Uruzgan Province, was started on 07/07/1403 in the presence of economic deputy to the Prime Minister of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, officials of the Ministry of Water and Energy, officials of the National Development Corporation, officials of Uruzgan Province, tribal leaders and local residents. The survey and design of this dam have been entrusted to the National Development Corporation based on the order of Amir -Ul-Momineen of IEA, and the officials of the National Development Corporation are committed that the construction of this dam will be carried out according to the standard and it will proceed quickly, and on the specified date, the project will be put into exploitation.
Inauguration of the Tori dam project
Inauguration of the Tori dam project: on 5/7/1403, the Tori dam in Zabul province was inaugurated and exploited with the participation of the economic deputy to the Prime Minister of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the officials of the Ministry of Water and Energy, the officials of the National Development Corporation, local officials and special guests. This dam is located 2 km away from Qalat city, the center of Zabul province, and its proprietor is the honorable Ministry of Water and Energy. The construction work of the Tori dam, which includes the main dam, powerhouse, service, and emergency tower, was started on 9/8/1401 by the National Development Corporation and completed on 31/6/1403. The purpose of the construction of the Tori Dam is to store monsoon water for irrigation of agricultural lands and feeding of underground water. It is worth mentioning that the height of this dam is 23 and it has a storage capacity of 2.9 million cubic meters of water, it has the capacity to irrigate 560 hectares of land and production of 61 kilowatts of electricity.
National Development Corporation is going to sell one million (1,000,000) tons of coal
National Development Corporation is going to sell one million (1,000,000) tons of coal from Gulwraz and Guakh mines of Balkhab district of sari Pul province through biding auction. Those who are interested to participate in this auction can get their bid form from National Development Corporation’s main office in Qasaba, Kabul and should submit their applications to the Public Relations’ department of National Development Corporation which is located in 15th zone Qasaba, Kabul City, until Thursday (13/02/1403) after the date of announcement. Applications submitted after the specified date or through internet is not applicable.
The auction meeting will be held on Thursday (13/02/1403) at morning (10:00 A.M) in the meeting hall of the National Development Corporation.
Supervision and visit of the leadership of the National Development Corporation from the progress of second phase of Qosh Tepa Canal!
Abdul Rahman Attash, CEO of the National Development Corporation, in his trip to the north of the country, visited the practical work of the second phase of Qosh Tepa canal and directed the provincial officials of this project to speed up the work of the second phase.
The second phase of Ghoshtipeh canal, which is 177 kilometers long, has been dug from Dawlat Abad district of Balkh province. Also, several big bridges will be built on this route to connect different districts on this route.
Officials of the National Development Corporation say that the excavation work of the second phase of the Qosh Tepa Agricultural Canal will be completed in one year.
Also, CEO of National Development Corporation supervised the progress of the Qosh Tepa canal dam, and told to the officials, engineers and workers that the Qosh Tepa canal dam is one of the basic and important parts, they should pay more attention to its construction and work round the clock to complete it as soon as possible.
Qosh Tepa Canal, which is the largest agricultural and national project of Afghanistan, the National Development Corporation is committed to complete this canal so that our beloved country of Afghanistan can achieve economic progress and prosperity by using the water of the Amo Sea and the northern lands of the country in the agricultural and industrial sectors.
