Banayee Construction Directorate:
Established in 1967 (1346), Banayee Construction Enterprise began as an implementation authority for construction infrastructure projects with an initial capital of 500 million Afghanis. Despite the challenges and destruction faced during the wars of the 1990s, the post-war government prioritized the revival, reconstruction, and development of this enterprise. It resumed operations under the Ministry of Urban Development, addressing its challenges and continuing to operate under constructive and practical policies.
Since resuming activities, Banayee Construction Enterprise has achieved significant milestones, including the reconstruction of Dar al-Aman Palace, Jabal al-Saraj, Paghman, Amir Shahid, and Bagh Shahi Palaces. The restoration of these historical sites and buildings has been noteworthy for quality, speed, and stability. The enterprise has been cautious and economical in resource use, preserving the historical value of these areas.
According to Presidential Decree No. 28, dated 15/11/1398, the enterprise was integrated into the National Development Corporation. It now handles all construction infrastructure projects related to the corporation and implements construction projects with national priority.
