August 08 2026: The Chief Executive Officer of the National Development Corporation (NDC), Abdul Rahman Attash, inspected the execution and progress of major infrastructure projects in Nangarhar and Kunar provinces during an official visit to the eastern zone.
Accompanied by the Governor of Nangarhar, Mr. Attash evaluated the ongoing construction and developmental activities of the 600-bed Eastern Regional Health Complex and the Speen jumat (White Mosque) in Nangarhar province.
As part of his itinerary, the NDC head also traveled to Kunar province, where he closely monitored the construction progress of the 200-bed Kunar Provincial Hospital.
During these field visits, Mr. Attash engaged with project directors and site engineers, emphasizing strict adherence to high-quality standards, technical specifications, and project deadlines. He issued necessary directives to the technical teams to further expedite operations.
The National Development Corporation is currently executing multiple large-scale infrastructure projects across various regions of the country, striving to complete all assignments on schedule and in full compliance with quality benchmarks.
